Summer Camp Style B’nai Mitzvah | Lucky Strike

Guests entered the venue beneath a wooden arch, welcomed by a custom “Welcome to Camp Twin Lakes” sign which communicated the evening’s whimsical summer camp theme. Great design strikes a perfect balance between beauty and efficiency, so the rear surface of the sign was also utilized as an exit message reading “Thanks for coming to camp, come back soon!”. To enhance the natural beauty of the wooden structure, we softened the base with majestic lodge pole, aspen branch, birch logs, and rustic burlap fabric.

To maximize use of venue space, we transformed the coat check area with a personalized wooden “Campers of the day” sign featuring portraits of the guests of honor. The entry way’s woodsy atmosphere was further enhanced with additional lodge pole, birch log, pine cones, and boulders camouflaging the sign perimeter.

This mitzvah was jam packed with entertainment, so we made sure each space delivered with on theme decor. The DJ area was backed with a custom graphic wooden bunk facade which provided an anchor for a “Bunk 13” sign while a lodge pole surround served as a clever disguise for the booth. Attendees busted a move or two on the dance floor embellished with a graphic “Camp Twin Lakes” applique.

As mentioned, this venue provided plentiful choices for guest entertainment – even an arcade! The entrance to the game area was summer camp ready with a custom-built wooden tent façade nestled in greenery rich, woodsy décor. An ore themed monogrammed graphic logo topped the structure .

Additional entertainment areas included an arts and crafts station comprised of plywood leveled pool tables draped in khaki linen, and a second table which guests used to scribe messages on customized oars as keepsakes for the guests of honor.

With all the fun and games it was necessary to create a space where hungry guests could go refuel; a trail mix station featuring a custom sail boat floating a top an ocean blue linen was accented with nautical props and  conveniently placed right by the dance floor.

Once it was time to dine, guests were seated at rustic wooden buffet tables adorned with sprawling, low-profile centerpieces featuring wood trivets, cheerful white daisies, earthy moss, vibrant succulents and petite birch stumps. Additional seating was created using comfortable booths decorated with petite coordinating centerpieces. Elements of cohesion, luxury, and comfort were added with glowing votives and custom pillows.

After decades in the business our team has developed a keen eye for detail. All of our events are greatly enhanced by paying attention to the little things that make a big impact – this cozy, themed accent pillow and charming Adirondack chair is a great example. We are proud to passionately curate every event with a tasteful touch of individuality and authenticity, leaving our clients with a smile, one “happy camper” at a time!
