A Beautiful Broadmoor Wedding

We are suckers for romance and could give the popular romance-drama novelist Nicholas Sparks a run for his money.  It was a beautiful Saturday in June; the bride wore a sheath style, lace gown with a button down back that complimented her elegant and classic beauty.  As she glided down the hydrangea lined aisle, she was met by a handsome groom, and four timeless urns nestled with cherry blossom branches, and beautiful white, ivory, and pink florals.  All in attendance gasped at the sheer beauty of the scenery, the love between the special couple, and the romantic ambiance that filled the air.  And… SCENE.  Take that Nick!  Notebook Schmotebook!  Just kidding!  We cannot get enough of classic romances and DW had the pleasure of witnessing one on a fabulous June day at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.

Gorgeous Florals

Beautiful urns surrounded the couple during their nuptials.

Stephanotis & Rose Bouquet

Roses, Stephanotis and broaches oh my!  This timeless, cascading bridal bouquet’s beauty will never fade.

Baby's Breath Halo

Announcing the bride’s arrival were flower girls sashaying down the aisle in baby’s breath halos.

Monogrammed Gobo

A custom gobo graced the reception’s walls celebrating the couple’s new monogram.

Romantic Tablescape

Guests dined while admiring this tablescape of tall candelabras filled with Hydrangea, pink Spray Roses and Phalaeonopsis Orchids.  The centerpieces were set on a mirror runner that reflected the beauty of the candle light and delicate florals.

Disclaimer: Mushy Moment Alert!

“I love you. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I’ve ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, every day we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours. ”
― Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook

 Insert *Sigh* here

We must admit, Nicholas Sparks has a way with dreaming of special moments and putting them into words that no one can compare.  We at DesignWorks enjoy dreaming of special moments for our clients, and making them a reality!

Happy designing DW fans!
