In honor of the new year

The new year has been creeping closer to us daily, and now it’s right there, peeking out from around the corner and beckoning us near. Maybe you’re hosting a party or maybe you’re attending one – or ten. Maybe you’re staying in and cozying up to enjoy time with someone you rarely see, or maybe you’re in the mood for a movie marathon to take you across the threshold from one year to the next. There are as many different ways to celebrate as there are types of people.

Allow us a bit of a change of pace today. We’re preparing for 2016 as well. Though we might not be poppin’ bottles of champagne in the office or hanging a disco ball to drop at midnight in the warehouse, we are taking the time to think about what 2015 has brought us. A lot of changes, a lot of joy and even a fair dollop of sorrow. As a company, as a team, as a family, we’ve been through some stuff this year. We’ve seen some people leave and welcomed new team members in.

At the start of 2015 we couldn’t have predicted what the year would bring, and as we get ready to close the year’s chapter and start a fresh one for 2016, we have to say, we’re pretty sure we have no idea what 2016 will bring, either.

What we do know is that we’re ready for it. We’re ready for the ups, the downs, and the in betweens. We’re more than ready for amazing clients, beautiful events, and more learning. We’re ready for another year in sunny Colorado. Honestly, designing events with naturally stunning backgrounds makes our jobs much easier.

2016 is bound to throw us curve balls, but the thing is about curve balls is that they are good as often as they are…less good. And as we start the new year, we’re recommitting to our quality and excellence, because it is most important that each and every one of you are thrilled with the work we do.
