Fall Accents that Add “Wow” Factor to Your Space
It’s the time of year where the aspens turn a brilliant gold, chunky knit sweaters and riding boots make their reappearance, and warm coffee mugs between your hands make even the chilliest of mornings worth it. That’s right, we’ve welcomed Fall once again, and with this gorgeous, crisp season comes a plethora of fun decor accents, color palettes, and design inspiration.
Some of the best Fall decor is (rightfully so) inspired by nature, from changing-leaf colored tablescapes to moss, branch, and forest-esque decor touches, earthy accents pair wonderfully with the rich, warm, and jewel toned colors that are so popular, and jaw-droppingly gorgeous for fall.
Burlap is a classic Fall staple that can add a quaint, rustic touch to any decor. We love how it brings a neutral to the palette, allowing you to mellow out deeper, darker colors you may want to highlight in your Fall palette without being overbearing.
Another classic and cult favorite when it comes to fall – and decorating is no exception – is the pumpkin. It takes many forms, and you can get as creative as you want with it, from glitter pumpkins to pumpkins painted white, wire pumpkins to the old faithful real pumpkin. This decor accent oozes Fall spirit, adds a natural touch without getting too woodsy, and blends well with the other Fall favorites when it comes to color. It’s hard to go wrong with a pumpkin accent in the Fall.
Natural Elements + Metallic
When it comes to adding a little wow factor while still keeping your decor low-key, pairing natural elements like moss, floral, antlers, aspen votives, and vegetables like autumn squash or artichoke with a splash of metallic (you’ll want to stick with coppers, bronzes, and golds in the fall and save silver for winter) is a great way to go. These elements complement each other because even though warm metallics add the glitz factor, they are at their heart also natural, bringing out more of the radiance in the purely natural elements you use. This pairing works great for tablescapes, centerpieces, and vignettes throughout your party space (or even your home).
